The Traveller
Sixteen countries across four continents, and the trips usually have a reason — a concert, a convention, a guide to write. The ledger and the studio fund the tickets; this page is where they go.
The Log
The Stamps
Sixteen entries, four inks, one increasingly battered passport.
Field Notes
The film from each border, developing slowly. Frames appear as the photos land.
Sixteen frames reserved — photographs en route from the archive.
The Dispatches
A year in Tokyo leaves a lot of hard-won answers. Study Abroad in Japan is the travel blog I manage to hand them on — visas, phone plans, the cheapest way across the country, and the places worth the detour.

The Save File
Long before the ledgers, there was a different kind of ladder.
I used to play competitively — high enough to reach Challenger in League of Legends, the very top tier of the ladder, and top ranks in plenty of other games besides.
The pro days are behind me. The MMORPG habit very much isn't — there's always another raid, another grind, another world to lose a weekend in.
Con Season
Animated films are the easiest ticket I buy. The conventions take a little more planning — and often a costume.
Ahmed
- On screen
Animated films, first and always — the kind you rewatch just for the frames.
- On the floor
A lot of anime conventions and events — often in costume.
- On the blog
I even wrote the guide to Acosta!, Japan's monthly cosplay event.
The Setlist
More than a few of the flights logged above were booked around a tour date.

Rock, first and always.
Somewhere past sixty concerts now, most of them across North America and Japan — and I'll happily cross an ocean to catch the right show. The vinyl collection grows as I go.
